4 Weeks Out!!!

As the 2013 USAPL Bench Press Nationals came closer and closer and I am still having a hard time getting the groove of my shirt I decided to add another day of chest, so now I am doing chest and triceps on Monday and Friday.

I finally got 545lbs to touch on Friday for a set of 2 and touched on both reps. Then I went to 605 with commands for 2 sets of 1 and smoked both of them, the weight felt so light and flew off my chest to lockout.

My game plan now is to do heavy board work on Mondays and touch on Fridays.

Monday July 22 workout Heavy Boards

All the above sets I just hovered over my chest did not touch boards.

All my working sets felt so good my goal was to just 675 to a 2-3 board but the way I was feeling I decided to go 725lbs(most I ever held in my hands) \

Everybody at the gym has been helping me so much. They do anything and everything possible to make sure I get my sets in and have my gear right. I defiantly could not have learned this shirt without everyone’s help.

My plan for Friday is to touch 655 with commands for a single.
