705 to a 1 board

705 to a 1 board

This week I felt pretty beat up and sore but I wanted to try going to a 1 board just to feel heavy weight. I got 675lbs to touch with a slight pause on Friday and wanted to see if I could go 700+ to a 1 board.

705×1(1 board) paused very easy coming up.

I am blasting the weights up very easy its just the last half inch I am having a hard time getting it down. I think I slow the bar speed down as I get closer to my chest anticipating touching. If I come down the same speed the whole time I think touching will be no problem.

I am cutting out my second day of chest on Friday and thinking of taking next Monday off to rest up, then do an opener or second attempt the Monday before the meet.
