Arnold Training week 1 and some inspirational words

Jan 9, 2014

Ok so I’ve been away for awhile. As of lately  I have been just working and doing what needed to be done. Now that things seem to be going a little smoother  with life in general, I can get back to trying to get stronger.

I worked up to a x5 squat @9 on Saturday and cut it there. Just not feeling good yet. All the normal assistance work that I normally do was in there just lighter.

On bench I did x4 @9 rest pause x1@9 with normal assistance work again. Strength is coming back but not where I wanted to be at this point. Like I said some things come first. I had a rough couple of weeks and my body just needs to get back into the swing of things. It just sucks that it happened when it did.

DL. WOW! What can I say. This was the best day I’ve had since before nationals. Moved a weight that I haven’t been able to move off the ground @ 8.5. That was a relief. I know this is probably the most boring blog ever but I have nothing exciting to say, So I will leave you with something I wrote down the other day after hearing someone tell me that they would never live their dream. I hope this inspires you.

“CHASING DREAMS”

THE REASON WHY PEOPLE FAIL AT CATCHING THEIR DREAMS IS BECAUSE DREAMS NEVER AGE AND WE DO. THEY STAY FAST AS WE GET OLDER AND SLOWER.  DREAMS STAY DETERMINED AND ON TRACK, WHILE WE LOSE FOCUS AND BECOME LAZY.  IF YOU WANT TO CATCH YOUR DREAMS, THEN YOU NEED TO BE TWO STEPS AHEAD OF IT, HIDING AROUND THE CORNER, READY TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF IT UNTIL IT SUBMITS TO YOU! YES DREAMS ARE FAST, BUT YOU CAN BE THE MONSTER THAT HIDES UNDER IT’S BED! REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE THE REASON IT’S RUNNING IN THE FIRST PLACE! BECOME YOUR DREAMS NIGHTMARE AND TAKE WHAT’S YOURS!!!
