I’ve taken eight days off for various reasons, mainly for the rest and I’ve started back on the training grind. Besides my bench press training, I’ve started my deadlift training to compete in the USAPL Ohio State Championships November 9th. I am no longer going to Reno, Nevada to compete in WABDL Worlds due to tight finances at this time. More importantly I’m focused on ending 2013 with a big bang. Today was heavy chest day and I used hanging bands. My workout consisted of sets of three until I get to a max lift:

365×3
405×3
455×3
495×3
545×3
585×2
I decided to stop there and next week I will hit 585 for three and go for a PR of 635 for at least 1.
