For the last few weeks I have been training to rehab my shoulder so I can get back to what I love, lifting weights. When I started this whole rehab process I set a goal that when I can bench 315lbs comfortable for a few reps I would make the jump from raw to single ply. Rehab was going great I was doing less weight and more reps and I really felt this helping my shoulder to get back to normal.

On Tuesday I was so pumped to go to the gym and lift when I got there things were going really good. I did my normal weight up to 315 and I felt better than I have the whole rehab process. Then I went to 335 and the weight felt 455lbs. At this point I decided to call it quits and went to incline (the exercise I injured my shoulder) and I went to 225lbs for 2 sets of 10. This felt pretty good.

I am sure strength wise I am in good shape but just feeling the weight again I am nowhere close to where I was before. So now I have a real dilemma on my hands…. Do I give it another week or so to get used the weight again or do I stick to my plan and go with the bench shirt on Monday????
