Some of you may know that I injured my groin and hip/quad  and back before the Arnold from all of the damn snow we had in NJ back to back. Long story short, I slipped on ice and really pulled my groin. If you have pulled a groin you know the crazy pain when you squat. The pain is still there in my groin, hip and back but is getting better slowly each week. I have been doing as much weight as my body lets me, which isn’t much.

FRIDAY

I was really having a hard time pulling this day. I later found out why. My new chucks had a raised heel.  It was a good half inch. this is whats been screwing up my squat and DL. I ripped out that bastard sole like it owed me money. I felt like the guy from Indian Jones calimaaaa Cali maaaa CAAAALLLLII MAAAAAA. OK that’s enough of that. Needless to say I was a little pissed. This was never the case with converse, at least not back in the day. DL was crap. I only went up to 455. I later did some cable rows and abs.

SAT

The good thing is that I have been having some fun with the training. I have also entered the 1st Phorm Athlete contest for a sponsorship. I hope to get it. It would really help.
