Last heavy Squat/Bench day before SSPT Meet

4/15/13 SQUAT

This is my last heavy squat day before the SSPT INVITATIONAL. The week before this I had horrible allergies and lost 3 lbs overnight. This day I was determined to have something go right. I new what I needed minimum and max so I went right in the middle. I have made the mistake of trying to go too heavy before a meet and getting hurt. That is not going to happen again!

4/17/13 Bench has been horrible because of my nerve pain in my Biceps. I’m not going to get the 2x body weight bench that I want but I should have enough to set me up for the 1600 at the meet . I’m really pissed off about this but what am I going to do. The big goal is 1600 then Nationals. So staying safe at this meet is the #1 priority. I will have about a week or so of rest after the comp and I will get some massages and acupuncture on it. Hopefully this gets me back to new.

  2. 365X3 I HAD NOTHING LEFT!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! THE OLD ME CAME OUT AND  I WANTED TO PUNCH A HOLE IN SOMEONES FACE! I hope the rest week helps more than it usually does. Nerve pain is so bad at this point that I couldn’t raise my arm for 5 min.

Last heavy bench is done and I am not happy with it at all. If I could get rid of this Damn nerve pain I would be pushing 430 to 450 right now!!! I will fix this and I will show everybody and most importantly myself at Nationals what I can really do. This comp is first and I need to get this 1600 and some state records out of the way.
