March 2-6 comp movements. Bench starting to feel normal

This week was better I feel all around. The squat depth ios getting deeper and the weights are inching up, a great duo. The bench was strong and liked my 2 board set. My arm stamina is getting better.

The deadlift was good. I stop short of going all out on a pull if I feel my grip is going because I don’t want to rip my hand again. The weight felt good in the hands HOWEVER my final set my shoulders were not set at all but next week I should have that corrected. Each week I tweak the previous weeks flaws and hopefully by the meet I am ON.

Squats March 2

415 2 sets 2 reps no wraps

480 5 reps (deeper then previous week but still high)

510 2 reps this set is a “stepping stone” set                                                          “

Racks weight at knee

Moved these from shoulder back day to dead day because lower back was shot next day from deading and hoping the switch has a better return.


Next week I expect BIGGER things. Bench to a one board and start handling some weights for 3 reps on all 3 movements.
