Not extremely happy with today’s training.  Gotta work on some technical issues next week.  I ended up using a 52 super katana today and I was pretty happy with the result.  I just hope that I won’t have to go to a 54.  I’ve been working on some bodybuilding for a couple months and I think that I’ve put some size on my chest and back.  Not a big problem, but it makes getting the right fit tough.

I am feeling fairly tired tonight, so hopefully I won’t have a hard time falling asleep.  The nights after hard training keep me up late sometimes.  I really need to make sure that I get good sleep between now and Nov 17.  Recovering is #1 priority.  Not sure if a world record will be in me on that day yet.  I just have hopes that I’ll train just right in order to hit a giant bench press.  Anything at or over 312.5K will be a big win for me.  Anything beyond that is icing on the cake.

The right shoulder felt tons better today than it has in a long time, however the left is still hurting.  Feels like a possible bicep tendon pull/strain.  Can’t tell.  Gonna get some ART done, work on some mobility exercises and go from there.  After NAPF, I plan on taking about a month off of training the bench press.  I have a lot of wear and tear on these shoulders.  Some time off will do me a lot of good.  I’ll get to recharge my body and mind, focus on family and friends, relax, and plan well for the Arnold Classic.  Looking forward to that one.  It will be a good prep for the IPF World Championships.
