OK so today was bench day and this is the last week before I start really pushing it to the limit with training. I Decided to go up to @8.5 to 9 no higher, this would keep me fresh and motivated for the weeks to follow.

BENCH

  1. barx20
  2. 135×8
  3. 225×3
  4. 315×3 paused last rep
  5. 360×3@9 paused last rep
  6. 360×3@8.5 paused last rep. I was tighter on this set. that’s why it’s at a 8.5. Good for the day.

RVB BENCH

  1. 400X2@8.5 PAUSED BOTH REPS
  2. 420X2@9 PAUSED BOTH REPS AND HELD FOR 6 SEC AT TOP.

PIN 10 PRESS

  1. 315X5
  2. 345X5
  3. 360X5

DB BENCH

100X3X10reps.@7 This was super easy but that’s the highest DBs I have. Time to add bands!

JACK EXT

  1. 100X6
  2. 150X3X6

CABLE PUSHDOWNS

  1. 90X10
  2. 180X10 super set with flys 56×15
  3. 200×10 super set with flys 56×15
  4. 220×10.Drop set with 160×15. super set with flys 56×15

** Feeling better than Monday. I finally got some good sleep and ate everything in site. I also took and extra serving of creatine yesterday. The nerve pain in my arms that has been killing my bench has been getting better slowly. I hope it keeps getting better and doesn’t get worse as my squats get heavier leading up to the meet.
