I knew today I needed to go up pretty heavy but didn’t want to completely max out. I want to save the Max for the meet. There is no point in risking anything this close to the big show.

I knew it wasn’t going to be easy because of last nights sleep. Tossed and turned all night. I just couldn’t get comfortable.

Foam rolled and actually fell asleep for a few sec lol.

SQUAT

All warmed up and started my work sets.

  1. 535×1@9 *This pissed me off so bad that I got a huge rush of energy and went up.
  2. 565×1@ 8.5 * That’s better.
  3. 585×1@9.5 * this is exactly what I wanted to do. got up to a PR and still had some room. Perfect!
