^^Team 2XL from 2XL Powerlifting Howard Penrose, Jackie Stone, Eric Stone and Jacob Stone

Relentless Minnesota (spring), part of the World’s biggest powerlifting fundraising event along with Relentless Detroit (fall), brought in a combined over $420,000 in funds for children diagnosed with life-threatening diseases through a strictly grass-roots effort.  Information and history on this event has been covered in my posting

Friday evening at 2XL Powerlifting was bench training with my workup to 600lbs in a loose shirt.

This week following training with my partners Joe Atef (our Relentless coach) and Eric Stone, and the rest of Relentless Team 2XL; Joe Atef and I went to visit some of the Relentless athletes at Barbell Central in Aurora, Illinois (the complete visit will be covered in another posting).  These included Rachel Zipsie (first time participant) and Barzeen & Kristin Viziri who assist in matching families with Team Hope athletes.

At BBC it was squat day.  Rachel and Barzeen were training in briefs.
