Road to the Arnold

Road to the Arnold

Oct 6, 2013

With four weeks before the USAPL Ohio State Championships, training has been intense. I have a chip on my shoulder for this meet because a year ago from this meet I injured my shoulder. That injury humbled me and taught me alot about understanding what my goals should be for different meets. Long story short I tried to open up with a big number and do something amazing and all I should have been doing was get on the board and qualify for the Ohio Invitational. This year will be totally different as I have identified the goals of this meet, qualify for the Arnold. Today was the last week of hanging bands on my bench training. I worked on more reps than I usually do in hanging band training:
135×50
185×30
225×20
275×20
315×15
365×10
405×5
455×3
495×3
545×3
585×4

Monday I switch to rack pulls for my deadlift training. Thanks to my training partners, Iron Chamber Gym, My Sponsors-Iron Authority, INC., ATP Extreme and Primo Chalk.
