  1. worked up to  495×1 @ 8.5 *** I’m having trouble getting comfortable at the bottom. It is making me really slow off the floor. Time to fix it with some stretching so I can get into a better position and maybe some Deficits. I have to be careful with deficits with my back history.

Then I did some ab work. I have to stay focused if I want to hit my goal of 1600 at the Arnold. I feel I had the strength to do it at Nats but got turned down. I have been after this number for awhile now and what better place than the Arnold to do it. On a side note I made a bet with a team-mate of mine Paul Felder that whoever DL 622 first and or totals 1600 first wins  a free meal paid for by the loser but there is a catch. If he totals 1600 and or DL 622 at his meet the only way for me to win is I will have to beat whatever he totaled over 1600 and DL more than he does. So it all comes down to what we both do at the Arnold.  Now Paul has already pulled this weight 2 times but missed do to technicality. The dude is a beast when it comes to pulling and now his other lifts are flying. This was a stupid bet on my part LOL. If you know me, then you know I hate to loose and I definitely Love free food! So to sum it all up, He has already done the weight and I have to gain 66lbs on my best competition DL. Yep this was a dumb bet. You better train hard my friend cause I’ve been eating my leprechaun Jerky and wrestling Big Foot.
