The day finally came when I felt healed enough to throw my shirt on and start this journey towards USAPL Bench Nationals in August. If things go as planned this will be my first meet in single ply. I have only done raw before.
I did a few warm up sets:
135×20
135×20
185×10
185×10
225×5
275×5
315×3
365×1 to a 2 board.
After I felt good and stretched out I put my shirt on. It is very tight so the sleeves were still a little past my elbows, but the shirt feels awesome. My goal for this workout was to just get the shirt on and get the feel for it, so I didn’t do anything to crazy. All my sets were to a 3 board.

Overall I am satisfied with this being my first workout and handling over 365 for the first time since my shoulder injury. I feel good about things and feel the support at the gym so that’s all I can ask for right now.

  1. Is it straight sleeve or angle? Are you starting familiarize yourself with this now or this was a one time workout to make sure it fits?

      Its an A/S. I want to do the USAPL Bench Nationals in single ply. I have only lifted raw up to this point.
